class pm4py.simulation.tree_playout.algorithm.Variants(value)[source]

Bases: enum.Enum

An enumeration.

BASIC_PLAYOUT = <module 'pm4py.simulation.tree_playout.variants.basic_playout' from 'C:\\Users\\berti\\pm4py-core\\pm4py\\simulation\\tree_playout\\variants\\basic_playout.py'>
EXTENSIVE = <module 'pm4py.simulation.tree_playout.variants.extensive' from 'C:\\Users\\berti\\pm4py-core\\pm4py\\simulation\\tree_playout\\variants\\extensive.py'>
TOPBOTTOM = <module 'pm4py.simulation.tree_playout.variants.topbottom' from 'C:\\Users\\berti\\pm4py-core\\pm4py\\simulation\\tree_playout\\variants\\topbottom.py'>
pm4py.simulation.tree_playout.algorithm.apply(tree, variant=Variants.TOPBOTTOM, parameters=None)[source]

Performs a playout of a process tree

Parameters
  • tree – Process tree

  • variant – Variant of the algorithm: - Variants.BASIC_PLAYOUT: basic playout - Variants.EXTENSIVE: extensive playout (all the possible traces)

  • parameters – Parameters of the algorithm

Deprecated since version 2.2.5: This will be removed in 3.0. Use the pm4py.algo.simulation.tree_playout package
